PeeWee Bombers - Sep 29, 2006

The Pee Wee Bombers took to the field for their first Friday night game under the lights at Pioneer Park, against the Parksville Lions. The Lions took an early 14-0 lead on the very strong running game. The Bombers dug in and, in the second half, scored the Bombers first passing touchdown of the season. Quarterback Eric Lindsay took the snap and rolled out to the right. With backfield protection from Deyne Meldrum, Hayden Dodd and Nicholas Bury, Eric had time to throw a perfect pass, 20 yards down field to martin Price on the two yard line, who rumbled in for the touchdown. This was a highlight reel play by the Bombers. Parksville added a late game score to win 20-6, but the Bombers will be ready for the rubber match in November.
