The Midget Redmen travelled to South Surrey on Sunday sqeaking away with a tight win.
Dana Toombs shut down their stud receiver Xavier Johnson. Dana had 5 tackles and 1 interception.
Brock Tanti had 5.5 tackles and Matt Rinas had three tackles, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and a blocked field goal which was huge. Aaron Davies also had an interception inside Nanaimo's 10 on the last play of the game. It was a great and intense game played by two very clean and honest squads.
